Andy Jervis was asked to speak at this session on the principles of financial planning. He addressed an audience of around 80 advisers who had made an early morning start in dismal weather conditions to hear the latest thinking in practice, marketing and technical ideas. The session was well received and generated lots of interest and questions, with advisers particularly interested in how to create deep and enduring client relationships, how to discover clients life goals, and why it is essential to build a financial plan on emotions as well as logic if it is going to achieve the results clients desire.
