As Chief Executive of the Imstitute of Financial Planning Nick Cann leads a very busy life, and never more so than at the Institute's Annual Conference, which took place this year at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.
As the profession of financial planning comes of age, partly as a result of natural maturation and partly forced by regulatory change, the Institute of Financial Planning is at the forefront of developments affecting those advisers who have chosen to offer comprehensive planning services to their clients.
Nick Cann is ideally placed to comment on the issues facing financial planners. Andy Jervis caight up with him in between sessions at this year's Conference. In this interview, Nick discusses the future for the profession, some of the changes that he expects are to come, and his achievements during ten years at the helm of the IFP.
